She stands alone and barefoot.  She has survived.  All that is left from her former life is a single pair of baby shoes.  She clutches her stomach and offers the world a silent glimpse of her loss.  The three textures of the road converge by her feet to form the letter Shin.  It stands for "Shaddai", one of the names of God.  It is the artist's way of placing her fate in God's hands.  Yet as difficult as her path has been one cannot help but notice that the pathway before her is broken, foretelling of even more difficulties that lay ahead.
